
Don was admitted to practice in Massachusetts in 1995. Since joining this firm in 1996, Don has maintained a general civil litigation and appellate practice representing both plaintiffs and defendants in state and federal courts. Presently, a significant area of his practice involves representing plaintiffs in professional malpractice, employment discrimination and personal injury actions. Don also represents clients before state administrative agencies such as the Massachusetts Commission Against Discrimination, Division of Administrative Law Appeals and the Alcoholic Beverages Control Commission. Additionally, Don represents clients before local municipal boards, including Boards of Selectmen and Zoning Boards of Appeal. Recently, Don secured a final judgment exceeding $1,000,000 in an employment-retaliation claim in Suffolk County Superior Court. He has also obtained numerous judgments and settlements exceeding $250,000 on behalf of his clients.
Prior to joining Christopher, Hays, Wojcik & Mavricos, Don served on the staff of the Joint Committee on Public Safety in the Massachusetts Legislature for five years, including two years as Research Director for the Committee. He received a J.D. from New England School of Law, and a B.A. degree in English from Ithaca College. Don is a member of the Massachusetts Bar Association, Worcester County Bar Association and the Massachusetts Employment Lawyers Association. Don is also active in his local community serving as a member of the Hopkinton Housing Committee and as a youth sports coach.
