Patrice has been practicing law since 1980 and joined Christopher, Hays, Wojcik & Mavricos in 1994. Her practice with the firm has concentrated in general civil litigation with a specialty in medical malpractice. She represents plaintiffs injured as the result of medical negligence and is responsible for the evaluation and analysis of potential medical malpractice claims. In addition to medical malpractice, Patrice’s practice extends to legal and professional malpractice, personal injury, real estate matters, contract disputes and leases. Previously, Patrice was in-house counsel for the Paul Revere Life Insurance Companies, where she was Associate Counsel and Treasurer. She served as counsel to the Life Insurance Division and Information Systems, focusing on regulatory matters, litigation oversight and the drafting and negotiation of information systems contracts.
Patrice graduated Cum Laude from Smith College in 1976 and received her law degree from George Washington University National Law Center in 1980. She was admitted to the Massachusetts Bar in 1980 and is a member of the Massachusetts and Worcester County Bar Associations. She has obtained one of Martindale Hubbell’s highest ratings for lawyers for legal ability and ethics, based upon the confidential opinion of her peers.
